San Jose Herp World Show 7/31-8/1 or Hayward, 7/31

rockinar defiantly had the biggest and best looking young dragons at the show, livingstons were very good as well and to be honest if i was to have bought one there it would have been one of their cheaper mixed/not as good looking crosses because for the money they were the best deal at the...

San Jose Herp World Show 7/31-8/1 or Hayward, 7/31

i was at the san jose show yesterday, pretty good, only two beardie breeders there but they do have some really nice ones. rockinar dragonz and Livingston Lizard Lounge, livingston is selling Dubia and that made me very happy so i picked up some to start a colony with and they also have some...

    Mini Superworms?

i don't know for sure i'm just guessing based on how my 15" and 17" dragons do with super worms, they never get impacted but the little one does tend to hold up going to the bathroom for a few days at a time and then takes a big one indicating that shes getting mild impactation from them, i try...

Sandy after her first shed (in my possession)

here is a good photo comparison showing why in my opinion you should not keep a beardie on even play sand :) she's 1-1/2 years old and her previous owner kept her on play sand and i put her into a new cage when i got her, she's almost done with her first shed since i got her, she still has...

    two yellow dots ????

they can change colors pretty dramatically depending on the lighting and whether they are warm or cold as well, they can also change colors as they age after each shed, one of mine is turning out to be more yellow/orange with some red and when i got her she looked like a normal brown/tan beardie :)

    Mini Superworms?

probably too small to feed as a staple, i'm sure a couple day would not cause issues but if he ate a bunch of them you'll probably risk impactation small crickets or small dubia are the best thing to feed little guys like yours

    Hello and advice please

it can take up to a few weeks for them to get used to their new home and feeding schedules, i would not fret about him not wanting to eat when you want him to for now, as long as he eats your on the right track just give it time

Please tell me which is better asap!!

cool, another easier way to adjust basking temps is to go to home depot etc. and get a plug in dimmer switch my local home depot carries this one for 12 dollars http://www.amazon.com/Leviton-TBI03-1LE-Tabletop-Control-300-Watt/dp/B003AVLTPG

    Exo-Terra Repti-Glo 10.0 Tube

if you order a reptisun 10.0 online after shipping your going to save at most 15 dollars over the local store that is selling them for 45 dollars, its entirely up to you of course but think of it this way if you bought the reptiglo and then shortly after replaced it with a reptisun bought online...

just got a new baby todayy, am I doin ok?

yeah lower that basking temp 110 max. i have a zilla desert 50, i've never seen a bad reaction from it but today i got a 18" reptisun 10.0 bulb at the san jose reptile show to replace the original bulb in it with and i can tell you that the reptisun clearly outputs more visible light than the...
