Fruit rinsed in baking soda

Is it safe to feed my bearded dragons fruit that has been rinsed/soaked in baking soda?

I guess the bicarbonate of baking soda helps remove chemical residue/pesticides used in the growing of fruits. I was interested in trying it but don't want to harm the animals if that is so.

I dont know about the baking soda - I rinse my greens before serving - that gets them wet and will hydrate the dragon - I would err on the caution side of not rinsing w/ baking soda -- unless some one here can advise other wise
