What should I do when my Bearded Dragon starts brumating?

Hello,
If you have more questions, just let us know. Be sure your dragon is of good weight, is
apparently healthy & at least 6 months of age before allowing a brumation phase. It can
be hard on them if they go down & are not healthy or old enough.

Ok thank you. He is 2 and did not brumate last year. Do you think that he will want to this year?Drache613":1pgimq9f said:
It varies so much it's hard to say. They tend to develop individual patterns over time, but the patterns don't necessarily reflect what other dragons are doing. Best just to look out for signs of brumation and have weight records going ahead of time so you can track differences more easily.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
