T5 HO Reptisun 10.0 too close?

She sat on that log directly under The UVB for quite a few hours and is now basking on her normal spot would you say that she’s using it as a gradient she fulfilled her UVB needs and is now under the basking light? Is that how it works or does she have to be under both of them at same time I’m pretty sure she’s getting some UVB exposure as she’s basking on the regular light the cage is only 18 inches width wise

Hell yeah, but We plan to get that decor you showed us this coming week sometime and I’ll make all the proper changes again, with the hide at the cool side.

I have this exact question as well. Jut to clarify what the final determination was, 10-12 inches is safe with a Reptisun T5 10.0 HO? I ask because a few other previous posts on this forum stated that the above bulb, mounted inside with a reflector works to 36" unfiltered and that 10-12 would be too close. Not trying to argue just getting clarification as I will be getting a new bulb in the next hour or so. Thanks.
