By exposure to a good UVB source at an appropriate distance for several hours per day , or if it's allowed exposure to natural sunlight.

I don't dust my BSFL (or silkworms) with anything at all.
Now when it comes to crickets , the occasional mealworm or superworm , they get dusted with pure colloidal calcium powder and reptile vitamin powder.
