Here's some random pictures of Howie over the few weeks I've had him.
I hope you guys enjoy him as much as I have
(Before anyone jumps down my throat about the sand, it will be gone soon lol)

I just found your thread about the vet visit a little bit ago. How is Howie feeling? Poor girl. Give her extra hugs from Chaos and Lucy. OK maybe not Chaos, he's such a jerky boy. Your pics are great. I love Howies colors, especially her beard. It's so bright.

Howie is doing good, from what I can tell at least. Her stools are becoming more solid, and the urates are less yellow (I've finally got her to drink water from my fingers!! ) She loves being out of her viv and running all over the rec room, so she acts like she's happy. She still isn't eating very well, but I think the amount she's eating now is pretty good, since she went 8 months eating crix once a week, and greens twice a week So I'm not sure if she is just used to that schedule or..?? She doesn't touch her salads (from what I can tell) but she eats super worms like they're going out of style. So, I'm going to just give her some time, she had a rough start, and seems like she's improving.
And as far as her colors, she's actually brightened up A LOT since I got her. I think she's gorgeous! When I got her, her whole body looked like she was about ready to shed, but I've had her for over a month and she hasn't shed once, and then I started noticing her colors coming out. So I'm thinking it was just because of the bad husbandry she had from the previous owners that made her colors dull?? Idk!

Great news! I just weighed Howie, and she's up to 240 grams!! Just like a week or so ago she was at 224! I'm not sure if that's good or bad, lol. But the vet said she needed to gain weight, and she's gained some!!

I thought you guys might get a kick out of these pictures, my dad was cleaning his bike, and I was holding Howie in her burrito right next to the bike, and she jumped right out of her burrito and landed on his bike! I thought it was adorable, my dad, not so much

Needless to say, she got her way and got to sit there for a little bit. I told my dad if he wanted her off, he had to take her off, but he was too scared, what a wimp!!

lol I just use a little olympus digital camera, nothing special! It does take really good pictures though, I have to admit!

Love the Harley Pics. Tell you dad I love his bike. Seems like it's time to get Howie a little helmet and some goggles. Little black biker jacket.

lol, unfortunately I don't have a secret :?
It really is just my camera, if you take a look at some of the ones with my cat, I took those with the digital camera, and the biker ones, I took those with my iphone, there's a huge difference in quality.
I wish I could let you guys in on some sort of secret picture enhancing program lol.

Ahh he will love that comment! lol, he pretty much lives for that bike, he's out there cleaning it pretty much every chance he gets. Sometimes he's out in the barn until 12 or 1 at night when he has to get up at like 4 for work, lol. He's crazy.
lol I'll definitely have to keep my eyes open for some of those!

Aw Howie is very cute! I love the orange beard!!! All the pictures with the cat and the action shots of her eating are very cool as well. It's great you have her now and are feeding her and caring for her the right way! Looking forward to more pics and stories!!!

Oh my! What an exciting day!!
Howie actually WILLINGLY ate some collards!!
I didn't even trick her and put supers in it! Here's a few pictures, I had to hide while I was taking the pictures so they're kind of weird angled (If she knows I'm watching her she won't touch the greens!)
Usually there's no evidence what-so-ever of her eating them. I've even counted how many pieces I've put in her food bowl and she doesn't touch a single piece

Yes I was very excited! Howie is finally coming around and not being so dang stubborn!!
I'm just hoping it wasn't something she thought she'd throw at me to see my reaction, and then laugh in my face when she doesn't eat any more :?

Kind of a silly story I thought I'd share:
My parents asked me to run to the store for them, and so I did, but I took Howie with me. I wrapped a blanket around her and boy am I glad I did!! Everyone loved her, but she wasn't too sure about everyone, and when I was at the checkout I felt her tummy puff up, and then go back down to normal size a few times, and I was like, oh crap, and I grabbed the bottom of the blanket so nothing would fall out the other end, and sure enough, Howie made a big huge poo! I have been waiting for this poo for a few days now (I was getting nervous again since she usually goes every morning, and hasn't gone since Wednesday.) But yay for poo!!

Here's a tip for everyone, if your beardie hasn't poo'd in a few days, take them out in public, it will scare the poo right out of 'em!

So, my scale I weighed Howie with was actually wrong
I picked up a digital scale yesterday and it says Howie is 220 grams
Which means she's lost 4 grams
I don't understand, she eats like a pig. I let her eat as many supers as she wants.
What am I doing wrong?!

But on the bright side, she is just about 17" now!
But she hasn't shed, is that a problem?
