Hello John,

Honestly, I have never even heard of a heat cable :roll: ! I can tell you though it is not neccessary...I would not waste the money! All you need is the UVB and Basking bulb. If you need extra heat for the enclosure...during the day, a smaller watt bulb for bringing temps up is recommended. At night...if temps fall below 65 degrees, then a CHE(ceramic heat emitter) is recommended.

We do not recommend any other types of heating devices such as....heat rocks, heat mats, etc....
With these such devices there is a chance your beardie may get burned.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
