Zeus's Thread peaches laid

hi everyone my name is mike and this is zeus

zeus is 9 inchs and born sept so about 5 months he was a girl at first and his name was zoey so i switched it to zeus he is a pretty intresting little buger idk how most of you get your crickets but when i go and get mine they get put in a plastic bag so i come home with them the other day and he is staring where i put them down and glass dancing so i dum them in the cricket cotainer and leave about ten in the bag so when i was shaking the bag for those 10 to come out he puffed up so i think is has a fright of plastic bags but idk for sure and it was pretty cute when he was running after the crickets all puffed up i should of took a video and also befor i start uploading pics of him i just thought i would say that today i let zeus and one of my cats tiger meet

it went prety well i held tiger well he was trying to smell zeus just in case it went good for about 5 mins

and then i tought it was gonna be tiger geting mad or trying to attack zeus but then i noticed zeus puffed up and opened his outh as wide as his little mouth can and thats when i just put him back lol i didnt want me or the cat to get bitten but overall it has been going good and i will show you guys some pics and keep you updated and yesterday i let zeus try a horn worm he loved it (that better of been worth 75 cents zeus :lol: ) and im so happy the reptisun 10.0 should be here on the 20th yay

You buy crickets locally? Have you tried any other kind of feeders, like roaches or worms? Zeus is adorable, how long is he now?

He is still 9 1/2 inchs hopefully he grows now that he has had the reptisun for a bit but I think he has gotten wider on his head and body he is abit shorter because he has a tail nip from when housed with his bros and sisters but he is active been eating pooed on my blanket today it's starting to get annoying I need to train him to poo in the morning in a container so I don't have to clean his tank wich he never does and won't have to wash my blanket all the tie but he has sheded his legs twice face 1 time body and tail 1 time

If you want to try to get him to poop more towards the morning, maybe give him a luke warm bath to start the day with a belly rub?? Roku will only poop in the afternoons now in his bath and only if I rub his belly (spoiled brat <3). Just gently run your fingers (don't need to push in any way) from under his arms down to his vent (also great way to feel for any obstructions) and you'll know if he's about to go when his does the whole "uh-oh look" followed by lifting his tail slightly up and spreading his legs (lol it's how mine let's me know, don't know if it's the universal dragon way of saying 'here comes the poop'). The key is just setting a pattern for him to re-adjust to and hopefully it'll work.

Well I mean I don't really care when but I like to come home and let him run and know he Wont poo on my bed and mine does like a egg laying dance like spreads legs lifts tai and shakes his botty

Well Everyone Zeus just sheded his whole body and is on to his tail I think the only thing is he dosent poo every day why ? Is this proper ? Should I be worried ? And how much are fecal test ?

Hey Mike, been catching up on all the recent posts, and Zues is looking more and more like Baby every day haha! How much does he weigh now? Is he still 9 1/2 inches?

Don't worry about not pooping every day, not all dragons do. Just give him a little belly rub, so you can check for any lumps in there (impaction). Baby poops once in the morning, every morning, it's just his routine. I've heard of some dragons only pooping every 3 days. As long as there is no lumps, there shouldn't be a problem.

If you're really that concerned, and want to get a faecal done (have you had one done before? If not I recommend getting one done, just to be on the safe side for parasites), the price differs from vet to vet, my vet does them for $15 (£10), but I've heard of some vets doing them for $130 (£80), so I'd look around a few reptile vets.

Fiz doesn't poop everyday either. His bathroom ranges from 3-7 days.

He's a little over 10 inchs but people say he has a tail nip so that could make him a little less I don't have the money to buy a weigher and he pooed in his bath I am giving him yay but he hates baths so he's not a happy camper right now but now he just sits there
