Zeus having a hissy fit

So today Zeus got another bath, and boy did he not like it. Before I even got him out of his tank he was puffing up his beard larger than I have ever seen. I didn't get a pic from when it was huge but here is a pic of it right afterwards.

As soon as he got into the bath room and black bearded me and the moment he touched the tub he opened his mouth as large as he could! He calmed down as soon as he got used to the water again though, and I gave him a little head rub and he eventually ran into the deep end to wash up ahah. When he got back into my room though he was soooo not ready to go into his tank and he opened his mouth at me again!!!! So I let him hang out a little bit then he went in by himself..how ever he hid from me for another hour or so. I couldn't get any pics until he was back into his tank but here he is hiding from me.

My dragon does the same when i get closed to him puffs out and black beard comes out. When i try to grab him for natural uvb or just to bath him he gets p'ed off. Then hides under branch kinda odd. That would make the dragon a male right with the black beard???

Both male and females can blackbeard. Males normally can get a much darker beard however.
