Thank-You Michele! :D Me to! :D

Thank-You ToxikDragons you should see when Checker's my adult male charges the other cat Beefy now that is totally hilarious. He will charge the cat, run up on him, and slam his hand down and radically bob at the cat while standing on him an in his face. Reminds me of the commercial, "ever just want to get away"?
I end up rolling on the ground every time. :laughhard: :laughhard:
I'm sure it's real funny when yours terrifys the dog.

You know... it's really impossible to tell the age of a beardie unless you hatch it. :)

On an average they hatch around 4 inches in length and for the first 6 months
they grow an average of 2 inches a month.
By 12 months of age they are real near if not of potential length.
After that they just get fatter.

Now that is just an average all beardies are different!
Many things factor into how big they will get, genetics, diet, husbantry, UVB, and overall health.

You can't tell by the amount of spikes either I've learned, as some bearded dragons
have more or less than others.

As far as I know there is no actual way to tell. :dontknow: :dontknow:
If you hear of one though please let me know as I have a couple of rescue girls 1 of which
I have absolutely know idea of her age.

I went back and took a look at Adrenaline and he looks to be 3 to 4 months old.
But that's just a guess. As I said they are all different that's just the average that I've seen
in my house over the past 5 years.

I have a small female RD she is only barely 16 inches long she is over 2 years old but under 3.
She is super healthy and fat. But all of her babies are small like her.
Ms. Tiggs on the other hand is 2-1/2 years old 19-3/4 inches long and has very large babies.
See alot of it depends on the parents.

Do you know who Adrenaline's parents are?

Hey Barabara,

Zak and Wheezie really have become famous! =D
I never got the chance to ask:
Can they move their heads? Or is it all in one motion? (turning the body to look somewhere)

Yes, they can move their heads, but of course Zak's head moves to the right and Wheezie's to the left. :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
