You have to admit...

Most pictures of bearded dragons depict a sad and unhappy animal. They don't smile; they glare. LOL!

Barbara,

You should have told the pet store id!ot that you don't need to worry about the money you would get from selling them because you are already verrrryyy wealthy.

Then stomp his foot and tell him it's none of his @*#$^@^!@#&^$ business!!

Anyways, I love keeping up with Wheezie and Zak! Give them a big kiss from NC!

Thank-You Sara, Susan, and Jason! :D

Jason that is one fat happy little fellow and you know it.
All I see in those little eyes of his is love, gratitude, an admiration. :love5:
Nothing in his eyes say that he is miserable.
Just as I can't see any signs of Z&W being in pain an;or misery either.
I never did!
When they came out of the egg my first thoughts were to put them down afterall they were deformed.
But when they looked at me......with those precious loving little eyes..... I couldn't do it.
My heart said no way lady!

They have become my best little buddies ever.
The bond that is created when you have to give such special care........well I can't find a word to explain it. :love5: :love5: :love5: :love5: :love5: It's just a real special priceless feeling. :D

a two headed BD?!! awesome! I hope they pull through ok- how big are they?
Thank-you!
Well sense you asked I broke out the yard stick and WoW they have actually grown sense the last time I measured them. They are now 17-1/4 inches long. That's only 3/4 of an inch sense the last time but I wasn't really expecting them to grow any more. They were about 330 grams the last time I weighed them.
I'll have see about getting an updated weight as well now. I guess we'll be going for a trip to the Post Office soon.

They like to hang out in one of the 25 trees in our yard but only on days when the birds aren't hanging out, which is very rare.
We thought this might be one of those days.

But as you can see Wheezie has spotted one, though Zak doesn't seem to be concerned.

I wish!
No apricots :( just alot of redbud trees,(which look like apricot trees) oak trees,(which I think you are seeing some dead oak leaves)a pecan, olive, an evergreen, a mulberry tree, and a couple that I have no idea what they are.
We were in the middle of an apple orchard when we first moved here now we are surrounded by endless grapes. I miss all of the baked goodies with apples. :(

I picked some grapes for everybody the other day and washed them real good. They enjoyed the treat.
They all really like when the neighbors blueberries are in season.

Hi!
Just checking out how the two big boys are doing!

I loved the X-ray pic, it looked so amazing to se a two headed dragon's bone structure!

I was sorry about the posts on the AOL article. Some people just don't what they are posting... :(

But... back to cheerful topics! :D
I cannot believe they are 17 1/4 iches!!!!! Those two are huge!
The tree pics are adorable, they look so... satisfied, happy, relaxed, and a bit of some other emotion... (Also a joyous one!)
Too bad those aren't apricot trees!

If they like blueberries tell them I can send up some wild Alaskan blueberries in late August! Fresh from mountains!!

Please, give them love from Ajax and his family!

As Jason said I raised them from an egg. The were not my firsts.

I now also have 3 adult females(Ms.Piggy, Ms Tiggs, and RD), 1 adult male(Checker's), An a new 9 week old baby that I haven't named yet.

I first became infatuated with bearded dragons about 5 years ago.

The difference in raiseing a 2-headed beardie verses a normal beardie is the amount and quality of attention. For instance they take much more time due to the amount of attention needed to keep them happy and stress free as possible. Even though there is only 1 body they must still be treated as individuals. Which they very much are, with 2 seperate personalities, likes, dislikes...you name it. I don't refer to them as a 2-headed I'd rather say 2 dragons 1 body. :) Plus it is also a challenge to create a safe handicapped viv for them, their home is very simple for their safety.

The biggest difference is that I have no where to go for help raiseing a 2-headed bearded dragon. Instead hopefully we are makeing the path for others.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
