Just thought we could start identifying things around the house that indicate a house full of beardies, i.e. You know you're living with beardies when...
while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Crickets sing from all corners WITHIN the house!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

Speaking of finger nails ever cleaned a beardie cage washed your hands only later to notice under your fingernails is a little bit of beardie poop?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Yup, another reason to keep your nails short.

I keep my nails short out of habit. I have gotten used to cutting my nails short, and as a result I've developed a bad habit of biting them if they're too long and I don't have clippers. This has all snowballed because I didn't want to hurt my beardies or my guitar's fretboard. And because I'd hurt MYSELF with my own nails, knowing how CLUMSY I am....

You went to a mom&pops reptile shop and saw a 2 gallon tank (literally) that was on sale for $5 ... with a picture of a beardie in front and you started to peel it off with thoughts of dumb people walking in thinking they can house a beardie in it !!

My problem is my fingernails to be kept real short need to be clipped daily. For some reason my nails grow very fast. I can go 3 days without clipping my nails and it will look like I have not cut them for a while.

Oh no, I think I'm starting to understand all of your Y-k-y-l-w-b-w-you-arrange-your-furniture-centered-around-the-viv thing. I'm moving bedrooms and I've been making plans for how I'm going to set the new room up. My friends give me advice on the perfect arrangement of my bed, desk, etc, and I say "No way! Are you kidding? Budo won't stand for being in the corner!" So, instead of a nice-looking, functional arrangement, Budo's viv is going to be smack in the middle of everything with a perfect view and I am going to be the one in the corner. :roll:
