while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

Crickets sing from all corners WITHIN the house!

Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

Rhacodactylus geckos of New Caledonia; cresties (R. ciliatus), gargoyles (R. auriculatus), leachies, chahouas, etc. Cutest non-beardie things in the whole wide world.

"s*** the morning feeding! oh my god they're propbably so hungry and the salads..THEY'LL NEVER FORGIVE ME!"
And you do these things before calling your boss to explain why you aren't there to open up the store.

I know how that goes. I always call my two "my babies". And my entire world revovles around them Luckily everyone else at my work knows about them (I work in a pet store) and indulges me by also calling them my "childern". It did take my mom by quite a storm when I phoned her to tell her she was a Grandma though lol

YKYLWB when.. your family members ask you while you only bought a bed frame and matress for your bedroom (no dresser, night stands ,etc).. and your response is "well i'm moving MJ's tank to my room, then Prince will stay in the living room, also the new future beardies will be next to the couch, plus incase I get more babies, I wanna make sure I can fit two tanks in the room... and so on.... "

When you finally buy a new dresser and you take the measurments of your tank with you to the store and tell them them the top of the dresser must be larger than this.....because a dresser is really just a beardie display stand that happens to also hold clothes...........

LMAO, I love that!! Luckily the beardies here live in the living room and dining room. According to hubby we only have room 3 more in the dining room and 2 more in the living room so we have to be VERY careful not to get more that 5 more total lol. I told him that we could fit at least 4 in our bed room and 3 in the kitchen. So we could end up having 18 total beardies with the way I could do set ups! LOL :mrgreen: And that doesn't count how many if I could stack them . . . . .
