Just thought we could start identifying things around the house that indicate a house full of beardies, i.e. You know you're living with beardies when...
while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Crickets sing from all corners WITHIN the house!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

Okay so we are 1 week into Spring Break....Richard an 1 of my grandson's Fred are driving me NUTS! You know with the "I'm Bored" an all of the arguing and bickering till I'm ready to shoot or strangle someone? Well after days of listening to all of this....I was tending to beardies in the other room.....when all of a sudden I realized that I hadn't heard a peep out of them in about 10 minutes. Scared to even know what they might be up to I went to the other room and this is what I found............

You Know Your Living With Beardies When.....
...the kids have gathered up a bunch of the extra beardie furniture that's sitting around and have done this with it...

Small tiles, wood, hides, rocks, and today they have incorporated the old water dishes.

Or.....
You know your living with beardies when......
You go shopping for Easter basket stuff for the kids, but instead you find yourself looking at this cute little "Cars" basket and think to yourself.......this would make a neat hide for Checker's.

Now what will happen next will you find the beardie out on the branches next? Reminds me when I just turned 19 and one of my moms old friend thought for some reason I was still a kid and was looking for toy lizards to show at a school. Then she found out I had the real thing and wanted me to show my reptiles which I did.

...You pack two suitcases for a four day trip. The first you pack in less than 5 minutes; clothes, books, cell phone charger; the usual. The second takes an hour to carefully pack and repack over and over and contains bugs, blankets, towels, lightbulbs, babyfood, a thermometer, a personal bath, a leash, and a clean-up kit consisting of paper towels, wipes, and plastic baggies.

...You can often be found sitting on the floor by the tub reading, eating, or surfing the web (like right now!) while a little dragon splashes around.
