Just thought we could start identifying things around the house that indicate a house full of beardies, i.e. You know you're living with beardies when...
while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Crickets sing from all corners WITHIN the house!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

Oh yes, definitely one I can relate to.
I still tear up whenever I hear stories or see pics of Jasper (or even just thinking about him) . . . and I'd never met him.

(a) You are obsessive about keeping newspapers clean and flat. After all, your beardie might trip on a wrinkle!
(b) You sit in the bathroom reading a novel while your beardie splashes around the tub and you run just a teeny bit of warm water every 2 minutes to keep the temperature just right.

The staff at McDonald's who advertise a free pet treat for pets in the drive thru are obligated to provide you with a free piece of lettuce for your beardie

The local school wants to take a field trip to your house to see your beardies.

I'm working on getting beardies into the classrooms here. Whether in the classroom or on a field trip, they are a wonderful learning resource! They certainly make science come ALIVE!!!
