Just thought we could start identifying things around the house that indicate a house full of beardies, i.e. You know you're living with beardies when...
while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Crickets sing from all corners WITHIN the house!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

You said you were new with having beardies and you have 4, wow, did you get them all at once? They are a joy, aren't they?
The reason why we give our beardies babyfood are for a few reasons, mainly, if their not eating on their own, it helps them to get nutrition into them till their back to normal.

Oh my god! Mary, I'd been thinking of changing out my living room window to a bay window too! Too bad I hadn't seriously considered it before deciding on fixing my deck :roll:

I got two for my birthday. Puff and Buffy. And I recently recieved two babies. The baby food thing is really helpfull because the baby girl isn't eating. The boy sure is though. I will be down to two soon though. I am getting rid of my biggest boy tomorrow sadly. Though I love him to death I just can't keep him so my friend is taking him. And buffy is now on craigs list because I can't keep him anymore. I will raise my babies though and let them mate.

Does anyone have any advice for designs for the babies cage?

UKYLWB when...
you are harvesting hornworm eggies, and SPILL the dang container... instead of hollering for the stupid vacuum cleaner to be brought in PDQ, you opt to get on your (old) hands and knobby knees, and find the stupid little buggers (and the 200 live little hatchlings) that are now E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E under the kitchen table!!! (and also clinging to my leg) :shock:

UKYLWB when...
you are willing to put vaseline on your dragon's little bum to help her bootie heal...

UKYLWB when...
you fret and lose sleep because one of your dragons isn't quite feeling good...

UKYLWB when...
you wipe your little monsters' mouth daily with a wet q-tip to help his deformed little mouth stay clean, and help soak boogies outta his little plugged nostrils.

Haha, well, she knows I love my babies, but I don't think she knows quite how much care they need, hence not knowing about syringes. Now that she's found those, though, she's pretty much ready for anything else that's weird (gotta start somewhere :wink: )
