Wrinkly skin

roo has wrinkly skin on the sides of his body?

is this due to not enought water? cuz i bath him everyday his light is 100 watts but he cant get too close to it. he is prolly about 8 inches away from it.

any tips?

Sounds like dehydration!! You can add some Pedialyte with no sugar or flavor to the bath water!! I even give my dragons some of it in a syringe or even watered down Gatorade. Also when you feed his greens soak it with water or Pedialyte Hope this helps...

how long are you bathing him for? what is his stool looking like? is there alot of fluid along with it?

dragons have wrinkly skin on the sides of their body when they are not filled out. its not a sign of dehydration like it is in mammals. signs of dehydration in beardies are sunky fat stores on the top of the head, sunken in eyes, and hard cahlky yellowish urates. I mean a picture would give me 100% positivity of this but im pretty sure what you are seeing is when your dragon is not puffed up any nor flattened out.

nup its all fine his poops are awesome (not weird??) and keep their shape urates are good too.
