I haven't posted anything on here in so long! It's crazy, but I love this place and tell everyone about it. I miss you guys. I've just been stalking the forums alot, but I felt I needed to post something lol. So hello everyone!

Hello, how have you been? How is your little beardie child doing? I hope all are good.

Im sad to say that Mischa past away a few months ago, but that's not to say he didn't have an amazing adventure filled life! I love him soo much and spent so much time with him, unfortunately he was just getting too old and eventually he just had to go. I feel it was his time as his husbandry was spot on and even the vet's found nothing wrong with him. Mischa passed away in my arms so he wasnt alone in his passage, which makes me feel better that he didn't have to do it alone. I have been thinking about getting a new scaly puppy here in the near future.

I'm soo sorry. I know how much you must hurt. I agree with you, scaley puppies. Our girls are our kids. I've never had children of my own so our beardies are our children, just not human.

I say get another one, or two. Some here have as many as 6 or 10 in one case. Barbara (zak-n-wheezie's mom) has some babies just hatched. They should be ready for new homes in a month or two.

I was going to get one more for the time being, until I can get a dubia colony going. Then I was going to get a second one and possibly breed. I only want to breed one time though, just as a learning experience. But Mischa will always have a very special place in my heart, he was a great lizard and an even greater friend! He will always be loved and missed.

I lost 4 in a 2 year period so I understand how you feel. You will always remember him as I will always remember them. and they always will have a special place in our hearts.
