Where'd you get your beardies name?

my big female is named Kada. i let my girl friend name her...its a combination of kim and adam! lol!
my other three got their names from my old favorite cartoons and video games.

Olive Oyl(from Poppey the Sailer Man)
Dino(from the Flintstones)

We have 2 beardies and my 2 year old named them George (Curious George) and Dora (Dora the explorer)
her 2 favorite cartoons lol . But we really dont know what sex they are yet so who knows may have to change them

My hubby loves Southpark and Butters is one of his favorite characters so I was looking for something that we could shorten to Butters. Buttercup is white with yellow and citrus colors plus she is beautiful like a little flower. So my hubby calls her Butters for short, but I prefer her given name. I think it suits her better.

Loki was named after the Norse God too, even before I got her I figured I was going to have my hands full! Then I picked Bartleby after the movie Dogma, and decided they would both be my little fallen angels. It also fits cos in my mind dragons have wings

I absolutely love both of those names. Loki, to me, just is a perfect name for a dragon.

Barbosa's name came with her... her previous slaves thought she was a boy and said she reminded them of Captain Barbosa from Pirates of the Carribean. We decided to just keep her name and I call her Bosa... sometimes Bosa-Bo haha. Our little baby, Crush... well we wanted to name her something that went with her gorgeous orange colors, we were gonna name her Cheeto, but I saw there was a dragon on here named Cheeto, I didn't want to bite off of someone elses name (even though it is awesome!) My husband came up with Crush, like the orange soda.

Ball Python - Sunshine (she was our first reptile, I used to call her my sunshine and it just stuck)
Adult Suriname Red Tailed Boa CC- Rain.....That's what his previous slave named him
Juvi Suriname Red Tailed Boa CC- Suri..... Short for Suriname, for some reason it just fits her... she's a beautiful snake
Baby Diamond X Carpet Python - She hasn't been named yet, we just got her and haven't been able to decide what suits her
Baby Savannah Monitor - Mathayas... Scorpion King
Baby Argus Monitor - We call him McLovin.. it's just funny! My husband thought it would be funny since the day we got him he decided to bite my lip and hang on to it, hubby said he was tryin to give me some of his McLovin... I say he though my lip was his dinner!

Irwin was origionally christened 'Bones' but that only lasted for about an hour... it just didn't suit. So I was sitting on my bed trying to thick of something australia related, and my boyfriend laughed and said 'how about steve irwin. It had to be Irwin, it suits him down to the ground! I coulod never give an animal a human name

I named one Charlie because I have always found it to be a cute name. Ophelia is my girl who I named after one of the characters from Shakespeare. Hannibal is my last one and I named him that because when I met him, he bit me as hard as he could!

When I was visiting my aunt in northern california we went up to mount Diablo. And I hadnt gotten my beardie yet so I was like, I will name him Diablo. So yeah. I was going to name him Chubbs but my brother didnt want me to name him that. He's definately chubby... haha

hahaha a beardie named Dude....would be hilarious. Dave sometimes reminds me of a beach bum surfer or something...so Dave definitely fits him
