Hiyya guys!
So I had to make an emergency run to petco last night after the remainder of my crickets decided to die off I was thinking "eh, it couldn't be too much to buy them from petco"...boyyyyyy howdy was I wrong! $44 for 250 crickets  I've previously ordered crickets off Ebay, 500 ct for $15 , shipping included..No dead ones or anything. But I'm curious where else I could order crickets, phoenix worms & other grubs for my little buddy. I've heard of fluker's and premiumcrickets.com , but are there any hidden gems I should check out? So far ebay is looking like the winner with me, as the shipping is an awesome price (Free), but sometimes it can take up to 3-4 business days depending what day/time I order them. Any suggestions?
Also how can I keep them from dying off so quickly? I do have them in a tank in my basement, which is fairly warm. I'm not sure if its the "Fluker's cricket food" I'm gutloading them with that's killing them? (I've noticed when you calcium dust them and leave them in a container they die ..think they are getting too dry from the powder? & maybe the cricket food is having the same effect since its kind of powdery?).They do have that gel cricket quencher stuff in there with them too....but it's a lot of money for me to be throwing down the drain Any suggestions on that would be helpful as well Thanks!
