Where can I get a full-grown bearded dragon enclosure?

I bought my first viv at a reptile shop when I purchased my baby female, and got a great deal on it. Lately I've been looking for a new one for my male, and to get one at a cheap price I've been looking on craigslist.com. It's a hit or miss, just have to get lucky. Maybe check out local pet shops for postings of viv's for sale on the bulletin board.

Otherwise, I can only think to find them in a pet shop or reptile store. You'll be paying a bit more that way though. :?

Try a local Reptile Humane Society; they usually sell enclosures for pretty cheap w/ supplies. Worth a shot.

Always consider your cheaper options! Check out all pet shops and websites. I found a 40 gallon breeder at a Goodwill store for 10 bucks! and I found a used, 75 gallon for 50 bucks at a petshop!

Try county reptile shows too, if they have them in your area. Sometimes there are people there with new and used to sell.

I almost forgot.....
The breeder we got one of ours from used a 48" wide melamine storage cabinet as a beardie condo.

Kind of like the one here but it only had shelves.

Each shelf was a seperate enclosure. She cut holes in the doors and covered them with screen & spaced out plexiglass over top of them and then put vents on the sides. The only draw back is when she opened the door it opened all of them, but I could see that being convenient for feeding and cleaning. Under the shelves the flourescent bulbs were mounted and I think she had heat bulbs screwed into ceramic keyless fixtures. It looked nice and worked great. If you have 3, this would make things a lot easier. Cheryl
