What type of Calcium Powder?

Should I give my juvenile bearded dragon rep cal with d3 phosphorus free, or rep cal without. I already purchased it with, so I would prefer this.

if you buy Aristopet Repti-cal , note it contains large sharp shards of insufficiently ground oyster shell (my observation over the last 2 years is this can be as much as 20 -30% of the mass of calcium in the bottle - NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!! ) they claim it's safe for your pet to ingest these large sharp particles of oyster shell , you'll need a flour sieve to separate these nasties from the fine Ca powder. (which should be under 250micrometer in particle size , they apparently changed their process resulting in these large particles no longer being removed in their screening process (last year)).

Phosporus interfers with calcium metabolisation , so NO Phosporus.

The Rep-Cal brand is OK as far as I know. D3 vs no D3 comes down to how much UVB you're providing. If you have a T5 UVB light or a Mercury Vapor Bulb then you don't need D3 because it provides enough UVB for them to synthesize their own D3. If you have a T8 or other low output bulb then offering the D3 supplement is probably a better idea.
