What are the bags of crickets like?

I was thinking of buying a bulk bag of 500 crickets but I was wondering are the crickets just jumping about inside the bag? or are they inside of something else?

If that many crickets were put into a bag they would crush and suffocate each other. Bulk orders are put into ventilated cardboard boxes with eggcrate inside.

Um, they usually come in a box and NOT inner wrapped, so open carefully!
What I do is set the whole, unopened shipping box (or in your case, the bag) INSIDE a large Sterilite or Rubbermaid tub and open it up right down in there, then add the egg crates for them to hang out on.
Otherwise they go everywhere, trust me!
