Just a simple question, when that monitor reaches 4 ft... what are you going to house it in? I would figure it would need a section of the room or something?

I have a friend who's giving me his old custom made monitor enclosure.. I dont even know the size but I already have a section of the house for it. Let's just say it's from wall to wal and will almost reach the ceiling

he's longer than MJ & Prince.. I think about 19 inches ? I'm too scared to measure him.. everytime I open his screen, he hisses and opens his mouth at me . Plus he hasn't eaten anything today.. so Im hoping he's just stressed ? But im scared of him at the moment

Be careful a lot of Savannah Monitors can be so very mean. You might wanna brave it through the hiss because the longer you take to make friends the meaner he can become. My hubby won't let me have a monitor for this reason. But I think they are too cute!

I noticed that too, Katrina!

My little brother is 14 and was showing my parents the cute little baby monitors last time we were at the pet shop. I didn't get Lilly until she was 6 months and 13.5", so they saw these babies and thought, oh a little lizard. I jumped in and asked where he was going to keep a 4 foot lizard at the last second lol! They are adorable though! Congratulations!

Yeah, I wish I could take a picture of my shredded hands =( . Poor baby, he hasn't eaten anything all day today.. maybe it's from the stress ?? He's so cute though ! I just want him to be tame already, but I know I need to tough it up . Everytime I hold him and he tries to bite or scratch me, I end up putting him back, which I know this is bad because now he knows that's all he has to do
