Hi, I'm a new beardie keeper and my guys around 4-5 months old. I done my research before I purchased him so I am aware of the day2day needs.
This morning as I was getting ready for work a noticed him sitting on his basking rock doing this wierd stretch thing. Best way to explain it is imaging putting yourself in a push-up position, then arching your back so that your trying to make the centre of your back touch the sky while all for feet are kept on the floor. He wasn't stuck like this just sort of pushing it to the limit relaxing then pushing again.
He's in the middle of a shed, bits of dry skin hangin off his back, and all legs.
My worry is that he's showing sings of calcium deficiency, I use calcium at least once a day and I have a 10.0 UVB tube running the full length of the viv, or is this just him stretching the skin of his body?
Like I said I'm new to this and its the first time iv seen this behaviour.
Any thoughts :s
