Good weight, but give her another 3 months. As for the bites, that is one of the costs of breeding. Some males won't do much damage, others well.... Your best bet is a male that has bred before. He will go to the job quickly and efficiently making for less damage to the female.
but do wait those three months. In that time you can consolidate your feeders and if breeding roaches( or crickets blah) for feeding, that only gives you more breeding pairs, and more nymphs to feed the newly hatched babies.

You can also use this time to set up bins for the babies- 5 or less to a bin- and get your incubator ready. And not to mention condition her for eggs.
Just my thoughts on this.
Janie.

Bites just come with the territory. It can be difficult when your collector quality prize female gets torn up, but it is a part of their mating habit.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
