VOTE FOR REGGIE! Results are out!

Hey guys!

Our local newspaper is holding a pet contest, where you enter a pic of your pet, they print it in the newspaper, and the public can vote on which one they like best. So far, it's all dogs and cats (and one pig), so I figured, why not? I grab a picture of Reggie from my file, and send it.

So far, my aunt and my uncle are voting for him, and so are their coworkers! Of course, I still have to get everyone else in my family to vote for Reggie, but at least we stand a good chance, especially with the attention he gets when we're walking down the sidewalk. Now I just have to walk up to the park, and when they say 'Oh, look at him!' I can say 'You can support him by voting for him in the Pet Contest in the paper!'

I guess we're the only reptile in the competition yet-- I at least want to beat the pig!

I don't think I'm on there yet, there was a problem with my photo (probably too big-- oops) but when I am if you want to vote for me, give it a shot! It's $.25 to vote, but it is going to the Humane Society and whatnot.

I don't think they ask for personal info. :dontknow:

Reggie isn't there yet. There's no way the pig will get more votes than Reggie -- it's not even a cute pig.

I will definitely vote when it's time. I agree with Gina....the pig doesn't stand a chance against Reggie, although..... pet #40 could give Reggie a run for his money :wink: :lol:

Still no Reggie! How long does it take for them to update the entries? The longer it takes, the less votes Reggie will receive

I think pet #40 may be Reggie's spot. I had to resend the pic because it was too big. Voting starts May 17th (or 12th, I can't remember), so at least I'm not losing votes yet. I'm going to email someone soon to see why it is taking so long.
