VOTE FOR REGGIE! Results are out!

Hey guys!

Our local newspaper is holding a pet contest, where you enter a pic of your pet, they print it in the newspaper, and the public can vote on which one they like best. So far, it's all dogs and cats (and one pig), so I figured, why not? I grab a picture of Reggie from my file, and send it.

So far, my aunt and my uncle are voting for him, and so are their coworkers! Of course, I still have to get everyone else in my family to vote for Reggie, but at least we stand a good chance, especially with the attention he gets when we're walking down the sidewalk. Now I just have to walk up to the park, and when they say 'Oh, look at him!' I can say 'You can support him by voting for him in the Pet Contest in the paper!'

I guess we're the only reptile in the competition yet-- I at least want to beat the pig!

Wow, we're getting somewhere in this competition! One day, and I already have 220 votes! Too bad they don't send me e-mails or something to TELL ME how many votes I have and where I stand in the competition. Bring on the suspense. :roll:

Hah! Reggie loves the computer. He attacks the offending green lights on the speakers, and likes pressing the keyboard letters as well. Although, he likes the F1- F12 keys too much, and I often find myself with lots of pop-up help bubbles or closed pages or an altered appearance to my toolbars. Silly boy.

Is it still 220?

Only one of ours shows any interest in our computer. We only have a laptop, and Sweetie-Boo will come right over and plop right down and pancake on top of it :shock:

ronni: I'm not allowed to vote, as my pet is a contestant, but my grandparents and other relatives should soon! They have enough time!

Neromom: Oh, yes! Reggie likes to attempt to eat orcs on my Lord of the Rings strategy game. I don't blame him, though-- they are small and black and move around a lot.

I do wish they'd tell me how many votes I have.... I'd like to know if there's some people I don't know voting for Reggie.... that would be encouraging. Hmmmm, time to go bug the lady in charge.... again! :twisted:
