Great looking vivs. I have been through this thread several times getting ideas for Max's next home. Please keep them coming. I hope to get started on Max's either this weekend or next. I'll post pictures as I go.

I just installed Andy's much much more advanced fake rock wall/castle/rock

I went a little crazy and it has four rooms and a sculpture of Olmec (from Legends of the Hidden Temple from Nickelodeon...which inspired the castle/temple thing). I just put Andy back in and he is not impressed...lol

and my beardy has MBD, thats what that lump is on his back...looks really bad but he is doing really well!

I'm so excited! We are working on two new vivs. We have one almost finished and the other is still being worked out. LOL

So here is Narcissa checking out moms work in progress and of course the part on the bottom is the 2nd one that we are working on.

Ok, lets just say I got bored. Summer time and all, and decided to give Scorch's viv a makeover. Put some foam padding on the bottom and covered that with upholstery fabric. Took out her staircase and made a pillowcase type covering for her basking spot with a padded pillow arm coming down for her to bask on and climb up to her top spot. Now her whole viv is basically a big couch. She doesn't ever poo or eat in there, so hopefully it will stay clean for a while and I can just take out the fabric and wash in in the machine.

Thanks to the awesome DIY rocks and caves thread on here, I gave it a shot and here is my very first creation. I started out with a smaller one to use in with my Uro. It came out amazingly. I had incorporated a hide for him but he kept going in there and tearing it up so I used wooden skewers to close off the opening and with the sand and the cactus, and the color I chose for it, it gave it an abandoned pueblo type look. I also put in several piece of thin slate to add some texture to the floor as well as limit the sand. It made it look like a torn up road. I love it and I look forward to starting my monster creations for the 75 gallon enclosures I am starting soon for my beardies. Of course I will post pics when it is all done. P.S. you can see him curled up onder the ramp on the right. That seems to be his favorite spot.

Frankie lives in a 40 gallon breeder. I've recently replaced the compact UVB light to a 24" florescent UVB tube. Also not shown are two stick-on digital thermometers.

for all of you building your own enclosures what do you use acrylic or glass and how do you get it. i know this is a pictures only post and i am sorry for this but i just need to know because i am stuck on this because i am building my own and that's all i have left to do besides putting on some trim to make it look nicer. Thank you. :?: :?: :?: :?: and BTW all of these look amazing i hope mine turns out this nice.
