thanks I seen the Crossfire one but this one isnt based on that. The glass is not as tall or as long so I had to do alot of customize cutting for the wood ,and the whole Viv itself is about 2 inches longer and 1 inch wider took along time to make but was well worth it I also used Oak wood so i could do a nice stain color.

There are so many AMAZING enclosures in this thread! I just spent the past two nights going from page 1-57 :laughing6:

I have a question for the people that have made the rock walls for the back and side walls of the enclosure - what are you securing the rock walls to the enclosure with? Or are they just free standing?

still lots to work on! His heat temps are not where I want them, and I'm also looking for a background and maybe a camouflage colored blanket for his shelter area.

Now THATS what I call a ROCK wall. LOL . LOVE the rocks , just make sure they are secure so they wont fall on him. He is a nice looking dragon btw.

trust me those rocks are secure! It would take effort for me to knock them over! as for Chattanooga, there isn't much fun things to do as much as there is just fun people to be with!

heres my newly stacked cages, i've had the top one for a while, but just built the bottom

the top of the bottom enclosure opens up so i can mess with the lights and what not

not done inside, i just set it up, kinda a rough draft

the new guy, Zues. He lives on bottom

Wow, great thread. Its really awesome to see the creativity and uniqueness of each of these vivs. I have a few on the way now that my collection is growing. I have gotten the DIY rock walls down to a science now. Where are you guys finding those round vents? The only thing I can come across at any hardware store is the larger square or rectangular vents for heating/air. I would like a few of those small round ones for my projects. Any help would be appreciated as always.

My very first fake rock wall...I'm very proud of it. I know this cage won't last forever, but I wanted to make one so I could have the technique down. I'm currently making a *much* more difficult one for Andy, the snake. I plan to make Griffin an awesome one for his forever cage when he gets full grown, but this one will suffice for now. He's still a little intimidated by it...
