this may sound like a dumb question but i do not know where you get this or how you make this type of background for the cage? any information would be awesome!

that looks great! and i definitely am jealous that you were able to make it look so good in paint ;-) so, what is the red dot in the background going to be?

haha yea, the backround is a desert sunset I painted. That part is completely finished all that has to be done now is the assembly.

This was Israel's tank before, which was two long driftwood logs (cypress knee's). One in the back, and one going up vertical in the middle...

I took those out, and replaced them with one single, oddly shaped piece of driftwood. I just did it earlier, I just need to finish putting the last of the tiles back, and rearranging some plants...

First off, this is my first Beardie Forum..YAY ME!

My Beardie is Megatron and he is roughly 1 1/2 years old.

These are pictures of the enclosure that I am currently making for him. The last picture was took today.

Just got done stapling and gluing the Viv together, overall dimensions are 72' x 24'' x 24'' (bigger is better, heh)

This is the top of the Viv, circles were cut to keep lights from falling (obviously), 1 basking light, 2 night lights, and 1 UVB 10.0 light. Rectangle sections are used for ventilation to keep from getting too hot and muggy in the Viv.

Just got the tracks installed today and glass was cut/sanded and sized by Marty from MartyMade tanks. Awesome guy. Got to go to his house/shop today and have him do the measurements and such so glass was perfectly snug. (lights are on just so you can see a bit better)

Close up of the glass, still have to clean the tracks, got a little bit of liquid nails on them. Also going to paint and put decorative molding around glass to hide the black tracks. 8)

So far this is all I have done. I bought some peel and stick tiles to place on bottom and around the sides to keep water or any other 'matter' from getting to the partical board. Didnt want to paint or seal the wood because there are toxins in everything and wanted him to be safe. I will be adding some kind of substrate to the Viv and tossing in some cool hides, plants and ledges. Just not sure where I am going from here.

I will definetly keep everyone posted and putting up pictures as soon as I can. Thanks for looking.

Okay! I just got done from doing 5 straight hours of work on Bruce's cage and it is looking good...

cut holes in the side for ventilation, soon we'll attach some aluminum screen

and this is how I left it, the front and sides all put on. *my dad in the side again*

all that is left to do it attach the top, make the doors, & paint everything!!
