ok so long story short, a lady came into tmy job with a very iny BD and asked for help. he hadnt opened his eyes in days and at first she thought it was dead. I gave her as much info as I coud and directed her here. That was Monday ast night she comes back in and is uset he has made no improvement under her care and asks me if I would take him. Of course I said yes.
here is what we have 4.5 inch beardie weighs 5 grams was hatched a few days prior to christmas and sold for 20 bucks to a man for his 10 year old kid. When I questioned the lady everything was wrong...no uvb, woodchip substrate, crix way to big, mealies. You name it it was wrong.
Got him home last night, put him to bed, I work the late shift. This am he is awake and looking around. Took down about 1cc of squash reptiaid mixture and has his head up. he has gotten a couple of baths since she handed him over and in one I was able to find urate.
My fear is she had done some research and was bathing him and trying to rub his tummy. how possible is it she broke his back trying to help? i
