urgent help needed!!!! beardie looks like its going insane!!

I am verry new here and know next to nuthing but some people have said it sounds like water in his ears. I just thought maby you could put a cotton ball or soft towl by agenst his ears to wic out the moisture if that is what it is causing your problium.

he has been ok again today i even managed to get him bathed in my container i used without any hassle but is constantly doing things i have described wen handled apart from being handled he wont do it. pretty normal behaviour today and again has eat as much as he normally does not as much as fat gut but he is way smaller. and tracie they both the same age and when i got them the breeder said they were 10 weeks old and i no for a fine fact that they way younger than that wen i got them. at the minute i think they are roundabout 8-10 weeks old and i have had them 4 weeks fatgut is a bit over 7 inches but littlefoot is on 6 inches fatgut has shed twice and littlefoot hasnt shed yet since i got him and never been the better one of the 2 hes always bad since i got him had nothing but him being bad. the vitiams are in with the calcium balancer it is called nutrobal but think i may invest in a better one as i have been advised

cant seem to get the video to upload on photobucket just have to leave it his behaviour hasnt changed either and i cant get him to vet with the cost so just going to have to ride it out i feel horrible doing this but he is lively and had no stress marks for ages now its just when i handle him he seems to twirl loads more but doesnt look as unciomfortable kept the handling to a minium but hes reallly thin and really he has been since i got him compared to fatgut i measured fat gut today and hes 7 inches and a right little fatty where littlefoot is only 6 inches they were 5 and half when i got them over 5 weeks ago is this normal growing??????i no every beardie is different but littlefoot will only ever eat 2-3 locust where fatgut can eat anywhere from 10-12 a day sometimes more

Hello,

So you can't get him to a vet then?
Did you figure out how to get a video posted? Is he still having balance issues? Has he improved at all?
You mentioned that he is eating right now, that is good news. I would not bathe him any right now, in case this was caused by getting some water in his ears perhaps. If this continues, you are going to have to consider medication because an infection that doesn't clear up will put his entire health in jeopardy.
Please keep us posted on him.

i am glad to report that littlefoot has fully recovered from his twisting antics lol! he is doing great infact i have decided to get rid of one of my babies depending on sex as i have just bought a 5 month old female which ive named her diedre and she is awesome am so pleased with her i have had my eye on her for ages and i got a bit money so decided to buy her. i am happy with littlefoots progress as i went to the vet with he/she and everyone who said it was water in the ear was right and i was told under no circumstances to spray them just to bath them everyday but littlefoot hasnt stopped eating and has had loads of energy things are looking up

David, I'm so so happy for you and to hear about Littlefoot! Its funny as I was sat at work the other day and Littlefoot popped into my thoughts even thought I don't know him!!!! Brilliant news, I bet your so relieved!

That is wonderful news that Littlefoot is doing better. I am so glad you were able to get him to a vet.
So he did have water in his ears...poor little guy Well, I am relieved to know he has recovered

well i had them sexed today and have found out that littlefoot was a female and fatgut is a male so i have let littlefoot go to her new home and have been guttered all day but no she will get looked after well....if only they weren't from the same clutch i could have kept her killed me giving her to my friend but i want to breed them and 2 females just doesn't work wen it comes to breeding lol! i will post some pics of my new 5 month old she is a belta !!!!!!! still settling in a little but shes doing great and eats unbelievably i didn't realize how great they actually are with me just having babies i have had nothing but worry but she is so impressive its unreal. she is a bit jumpy wen it comes to handling as she was in a tiny little viv in the local reptile loft and doesn't look as tho she has been handle quite a lot but i am getting there with her slowly yesterday she wasn't have none of me picked her up and puffing right up and bring her beard out and mouth wide open but today still a bit jumpy and werey but getting there only had her 3 days and seeing a improvement any advice would be greatful as this is the first juvenile i've had thanks
