Unsure of nutrition

Cool! Does he make a good pet? I saw one of these in the wild a few years ago in Dinosaur Park. Was fun to follow him around a bit. A lot of similar mannerisms to dragons.

He is great. He loves to have his belly rubbed. Sorry my Nexus phone got stuck in bootloop mode and I couldn't get back into anything all my passwords and email stuff was in my phone. My other lizard is an alagater lizard. She is more snake like. My blue belly is a very happy boy. He is definitely my fat boy lol.

Can someone tell me about feeding lentals to dragons? Is the ones in the bag at the grocery store what you feed them and if so do I need to soak them or anything ?

I haven't heard of anyone offering lentils. I wouldn't use them as a staple and I'd definitely cook them beforehand. I don't have nutritional or safety info on them though.

I wouldn't feed him wax worms because they're high in fat. Black soldier fly larvae and silk worms are a better option. If you start a new thread under the health or general subform and include some photos and details about your setup we'll be glad to double check and make sure everything is right for your buddy.
