I wasn't sure if you were refering to Gina or Sara
One is always planning her next beardie-napping escapade... while the other is forever coming up with a "free beardie" contest in which of course, she wins
Dawn, you obviously havn't been reading my schemes close enough. We just have to convince my parents that I won it for free by staging a fake contest. In reality, I'll be paying for the beardie and the aforementioned one has caught my eye! (PS... I had 3 commitments to day and was late to 2 of them because of 1 brumating beardie, not sure that I should add another  )
Barb! I am so excited! JAMES BUILT THE VIV!!! It is 18" deep, 8 FEET LONG, and 2 feet high. We are going to be putting a divider wall in and actually using it for both of the beardies. It spans the whole wall it's on! James won't let me post pics until after we finish it completely--- it's going to appear to float on the wall! I am stoked... it should be move-in ready by Thursday. The new bulbs will be here either tomorrow or Thursday, along with a shipment of phoenix worms. We will burn the bulbs in over the weekend- and sometime next week we will be ready for our new little one! I can't wait! EEEEE!!!
ps... Say hello to my little man for me! I loved the new pics Thanks!!!
pps... So, if we're step-half-cousins already by marriage, and I adopt one of your babies, does that make us brothers? Oh dear... only in Tennessee
OMG look at how big your babies are getting!! They are all so cute!! And Pvt Blaze looks AMAZING in those pics! I'm so happy you are finding such GREAT homes for your babies. All but clutch #3 of 16 babies went to the show with me and the only beardie I came home with was Severus, of course we added Lily last night . . . but back to babies I have 16 left that are cricket and dubia killers and green attackers. Can't believe how small they are (all over 4 inches) compared to the ones I took to the show and how fast they grow.
I love watching your little ones growing and changing right before my eyes, thank you for sharing them with us!
Thanks for the pics Barb, seeing as you're not busy! They are all so cute and so big, of course not as bit as Bliggy, but he's different, must have gotten the big genes from Private Blaze & Ms. Tiggs. I've never seen a beardie grow so fast. But with your tender loving care and then the same from Dawn guess it's to be expected.
I just loved all the pics of the babies, especially the "bouquet", all so beautiful and healthy and BIG. They sure have gotten the BEST of care from you. Capt'n is one cute beardies, too, and a gymnast, too, wow! Glad that Trish is getting his viv ready so quickly, they will surely love him!
So thanks again for keeping us updated. I'll be looking out for more pics on the "for sale" thread. Still wish we had some extra room so I could buy one of your cuties, "sigh" oh well, the 5 we have keep us sort of hopping. Sweetie is brumating, the rest are late up and early to bed. Issy slept all day yesterday, so guess she's starting brumation, too.
Take care, Barb and all the little ones,
Deborah and my zoo
Looks like Cap'n will be setting sail on his next adventure soon. We will let you know when all is ready- I can hardly wait! We painted the tank today, and will be wiring in lights as soon as they arrive. I was so excited- we should have gotten the worms and lights in today. But alas, I forgot to pay homage to the veterans on their day. Maybe tomorrow
Lol I saw the title of the thread out of the corner of my eyes and thought it said "Ms. Tiggs & PVT Boobs Babies". I think it must be time for me to go to bed.
PVT Boobs babies! :laughhard: Sara you crack me up! :laughhard:
Okay so how are we notice I said we...going to pull off this contest where you supposedly win a baby?
You could send me an email like with a beardie pic attached...then I could send you an email back
thanking you for your entry and with the contest rules and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. Do you think
that something like that would work?
Steve I did promise an I'm late as usual but here's baby #4 C-2 sorry but he's preparing for a shed at the moment.
Waiting for his turn for bugs
You can see his boby is getting ready for a shed here.
And his eyes and nose.
I'll try to get measurement pic's at bathtime tomorrow.
Love the pictures. Cant wait till I'm ready to bring him home. I think I will start working on coming up with a name. I'm going to call him Little Blaze till I can think of one. LB for short.
Hopefully he likes Dubias. My colony was doing pretty well till Irwin started to get big and eat up all my smaller nymphs. The other day I put a add on CL looking to buy Dubias if anyone wanted to thin out their colony. Some one responded and I will be getting another 150+ females for 30$ practically nothing. So there will be plenty of food here when he gets here
Come to think of it Irwin and LB are about the same size and age.
