Did that work for you Jess? I had tried it with my snake's setup, specifically for her UTH, but I found that it did not work and it ended up burning her underside, regardless of the tile I placed overtop. It may have been defective. I bought and am now using a dimmer switch for heat control on all of my reptiles' lighting and heating and find that that works as well, as long as your house is relatively consistent with temperature.
