The theiving spider!

I just had to share this story with fellow beardie parents. So this morning, I was turning on the daytime lights to my baby Puff's enclosure. During the night, a small spider managed to weave a web in the corner at the top of the viv. As I was picking up some poop, Puff proceeded to watch me from his basking spot, being aware of my every move. Just then, he noticed a small cricket who had been hiding under his reptile carpet. He quickly ran over to it, with his tounge sticking out, ready to snatch it. All of a sudden, this little spider swooped down, grabbed the cricket, and proceeded up to his web. Puff looked shocked, with his tounge still sticking out, his head moved up and up, as he watched the spider steal his food. He then looked at me with a "what the heck?" look on his face. I just about died laughing. I gotta get rid of that spider, before he eats it out of spite!

HaHaHa!!! Truly great story :D :D
I just hope you won't kill the spider :( Release it in your attic or basement, or somewhere like that, he will keep your fly population in check

Well I have to admit that I'm not too crazy about spiders. But, I captures the little bugger, and let him go in the basement.

I'm really thankful that you didn't kill the spider, and that you released him in the basement. :blob5: :blob8:

Well I hate to end the life of any creature, even a creepy spider. I feel a little guilty sometimes, when I'm feeding my beardies their insects, but our scaley babies gotta eat too! Plus, I didn't want Puff eating it. I'd feel terrible if he got sick. He's the baby of my two adults, and I watched him hatch, so he's very special to me!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
