The "Bligg" Arrival ... New Pics(pg112)

Hello Everyone!

For those of you who do not already know... I am about to welcome the newest member of my family.... Bligg!
He is on his way to my house right now... via the big brown viv.. aka as UPS

Bligg is one of Barbara's (fresnowitte) babies born out of wedlock to Ms.Tiggs and Blaze. His name I came up with by blending his parents names together.... Blaze + Tigg = Bligg :wink:

Here is the story of Bligg.... the little beardie who has been melting my heart for the past 56 days and will very soon be here at his forever home in Florida!

Bligg was born on July 15th in a small farm house in Fresno, CA.

WOW! I did not realize it had been so long since I've made a post in Bligg's thread. [hangs head in shame]
My little boy is doing great! He has been sleeping an awful lot lately. I hate to be the one to tell him, but it is still summer here and HOT!!! I think someone by the name of Rex has filled his little head with ideas of a winter slumber :shock: I overheard something being discussed about sugar plums and fairies :roll: I brought and end to that topic though.. no more talking between those two(from seperate rooms no less). :wink:

I don't have any pics right now, but will post some tomorrow.

Wow Dawn, a full month since you posted here. Is Bligg sleeping most of the day already? Is he still eating?
Would love to see some new pics of him.

Hi Dawn, I thought it had been awhile since I'd seen any pics...guess you've been busy. Glad to hear he's doing well. As far as the sleepiness, join the club. Our 5 have been taking turns sleeping for the last 2 weeks. We woke Rubio up this am, he'd been asleep in his hide for 4 days, guess he's going to go in for full brumation this winter. I know it's still warm where you live, but doesn't seem to make any difference, they still seem to get sleepy by Labour Day. Good luck with keeping him awake, maybe you can pursuade him to do a partial brumation, like Lonzo's doing, sleeping in until 1p, getting up for 4 hours, then back to sleep again.

Will be glad to see photo's of Bligg, bet he's getting huge, it's been awhile, and please include some of Princess Rex, too

Ah ha! Finally, new pics of Rex! I was starting to think that you don't love her no more, that she'd been replaced by Bligg (though I have no complaints of seeing new pics of my godbeardie on a daily basis *hint hint*) :wink:

Wow! Bligg sure is handsome! He has eyes JUST like Gem's. Except Gem looks like she's wearing eyeliner, and it looks like Bliggy passed on that :roll: Does he have purple/lavender eyelids on bottom? I still can't get over how handsome he is!
Rex is such a sweetie. She's gorgeous, too. She's got some big eyes, hehe. But she's still very pretty. :love5:

I haven't talked to you in aaaages. Just thought I'd check in. :mrgreen: My little ladies are settling down for brumation as well.... I'm going to be so lonely.

Thanks for all the wonderful compliments on my babies I think they both enjoyed their outdoor photo shoot.
Rex does look quite white in those shots :shock: Maybe I should change her name to Casper :roll:

The kiddos have been getting alot more outdoor time lately. I had a very small screened cage for years that they could bask outside in, but it was so small I had no place for a shaded area. I had been looking on craigslist for some type of cage, like a bunny cage with chicken wire or even a ferret cage. I kept finding ones with the wires/bars too far apart and was worried Bligg could squeeze his way through them. I was out last week and decided to stop at a petstore down the hwy from me. Lo and behold, there it was... a homemade bunny cage made with chicken wire sitting out front. I inquired about it inside and the lady said someone had dropped it off and she wanted to get rid of it. I got it for $10 It is 36" long and 27" deep. Hubby and I had to put a plywood bottom in it and it was ready to go. The kids love it :mrgreen:
How come it seems you find the perfect things when you are not looking for them? This is how I found my husband 24 years ago, not in a pet store, of course, lol.
