Glad she hit her good weight! And it is good for her length, perfect in fact!
Ankle is healing, all the bruising is gone and only gets swollen if I'm on my "foot" for too long. I was at a birthday party at my sister & b-i-l's, we were 16 in all, only my son & his family couldn't make it. My mom was 80 mid Oct & my b-i-l was 65 on the 9th, so it was good food and a very delicious cake, too. I had lots of help and it was great to see everyone. My youngest brother & his family picked me up and brought me home, it was just great to get out!
I see the surgeon on Nov 3, so will find out when I can weight bear (can't do that right now, it really hurts if I do) and when I start seeing the physio therapist. Because I can't get to the hospital, I called my insurance company and can see my own therapist who's office is 5 min drive away. So I'm set with that, will call her when I get the schedule & get that sorted. Looks like it will still be early Jan before I can even consider starting to return to work. It's a very long healing process, my surgeon was right.
My dragons are mostly asleep, even though I got them all in the
bath today. Nathaniel stayed out watching cartoons until I left (Castiel was not pleased, I had to keep snuggling him to get him to stop being so dark  so spoiled) and Cierra was out a bit today, too. The minute I put Nathaniel back into his tank he went directly back into his hide, he can sleep tomorrow but then I'll get him back up, as he ate today so will need to poop. Cierra refused to eat anything today, I'll see if she'll eat tomorrow if she's still up. Gabriel stayed in his tank all day because he was out 1/2 the day yesterday. They have to share the living room, like it or not.
Leo went to the vet on Friday for his blood test, waiting for results, I'll let you know. He's the one that was full of fluid from low protein. I'm hoping I've got that right now & that his protein level is normal again. My vet also took some fluid out of his belly but it was a normal colour, so he's not leaking from his blood vessels anymore, which is great. Seems he's still carrying some fluid but not alot, so that's good news, too. I'll get him back in February for another check up when I've gotten off disability. My pay will start reducing beg Dec, so less income for me until I'm back to work.
I have to tell you a funny story. On Thursday I had Gabriel on my lap to hold for awhile, we were watching TV together. Suddenly he decided to run along my left leg (the one I have the boot on), as it was elevated onto my leg walker. So he gets to the bottom of the boot and gets onto the small cushion (there are two sets of cushions on the leg walker, one for my knee (small) & the other to support the rest of my leg (bigger), settles in, then he wiggles his butt, eyes down to where he wants to jump & takes a leap onto the ramp. It happened so fast, the jump I mean, I almost felt my heart stop for a second! Well he sure has a good eye and amazing leaping abilities because the leg walker is quite high, for a dragon that is, and he was spot on to the ramp (well he landed 1/2 on the small sofa, it's a padded jewelry box and the ramp). I was quite proud of him
Here's a picture of the beardie sofa, Leo's showing how it's used
So I guess the jump was about 18" in total, still not a bad jump for a dragon
