Temps on the log are around 110f. He stays under the log.

A basking temp of 110 is only needed for a little baby. A beardie the size of yours would probably prefer 100 to 102 or 103. What type of thermometer are you using?

Good that you're using a temp gun. Please make sure you're only holding it 2" from the area you're checking.

Are you sure he isn't using the branch when you aren't looking?

A couple things to consider

We offer a gradient because thermoregulation isn't one size fits all - higher temps might be used but for much shorter times. As long as there is a gradient and options the dragon can select what temp it wants to be. My guy happily uses his 110+ basking spot but has other options and uses those too. Individuals of course will have their own preferences.

Posture and comfort do apply - if he doesn't find the stick stable or comfortable or positioned in a way he likes he may not use it.

I changed the bulb over the branch. Temps are now 101 at the hottest spot I tested. The middle basking spot is at 96-98. Cool side with food dish is 77.

I also agree that you should offer a basking temperature gradient, then let the dragon decide which temperature he wants to bask at.
My guy happily uses his 150F basking spot and seems to prefer it over the other options. The number may seem high, but if you take your temp gun outside on a warm, sunny day you will easily be able to get surface temperatures of over 150F on natural objects.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
