Tank sizes

What is a good size tank for a bearded dragon? I have a younger bearded dragon in a36x18 tank he seems happy but just want to know if I need bigger.

That tank size will be fine for the rest of his life. 36x18x18 is the minimum tank size, so bigger is always better!

...and I have found that a three foot enclosure is too small. Gobi takes a dump and can't get away from it. Thus he freaks out and runs all over the cage getting lizard pooh everywhere. I also have a real hard time making a good heat gradient. It's so small that all the lights end up being too close together. From everything I've read a six foot enclosure seems ideal. Don't go too small or you'll end up replacing it later. I'm about to replace Gobi's enclosure for the third time so learn from my mistake. :roll:

A 40 breeder 36x 18 is the min I suggest.
However I use 48 x 24's for almost all my dragons.
My smallest tank is 36 x 18 but I only have 1 left and its days are numbered.
