I don't think so. They usually like having room to climb around and explore. As long as you have branches to climb on, some hides, open space to hunt bugs in, and an easy to access basking spot it should be a good home.

That's bang on standard size wrt it's footprint for a single adult beardie used my most keepers here in Australia, the height should be fine with an 80W MVB too.

If anything the little hatchling might find so much space overwhelming at 8 weeks old. I have my hatchlings / juveniles in 100L rearing tubs and they are now 9 months old, will be upgrading them to similar sized enclosures soon as I can get the materials on hand and can build them.
That said, he'll soon get accustomed to the expanse of it and will soon grow into it.

Mine was in one 48x29x24 since he was 8 weeks old. He was fine. They grow so quickly he will be huge before you know it

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
