Tales of Thresh and Fizz *Update*

Hi everyone!

So Deb was amazing today and came over and helped me pick out the new baby for the family. Except he isn't so much of a baby. And he may also may not be a he. :lol: He's from the same clutch as Baron was from, so his birthday is March 10th! And holy moly what a healthy juvie.

Even though he is a bit small at 12 inches, he can eat. Let me tell you, he can eat. Deb got pictures of him eating when I first gave him food 5 minutes after him being in the tank. 2 bowls of roaches later and a bowl and a half of baby bok choi and he seemed content. SO. PICTURES. I only got 3 before my camera died.

The last two are kind of crappy...But the camera was making angry red flashes at me and I was trying to get some.

Here is how I found Thresh. I got around to taking her out finally, got caught up with other things and I found her like this...

Mum. Let me out. Mum. I have been like this for a very long time.

Oh good. I have been noticed. You see this glare? Yeah. That's for you. Bad slave!

After I stopped laughing I felt bad, yes! She's on me now and passed out. I loved how part of her beard was just spilling over the edge a little bit. Made everything so much better.

She's exactly like Baron in that way, always wanting out and cuddles. :love5:

i love that she does it. darunias hammock is right by the door so he'll like half climb on that and half hang off the door, its real precious

Normally she'll keep her back legs on the steps and front on the ledge and hang out like that, but not this. :lol:

So I found out you can contact the Customs Branch that your item is going through and have them give you a status! So after a few transfers I was able to leave a message and hopefully they'll call me back with a number I can call them tomorrow morning and find out what the heck is going on. Yay!

So Thresh is in preshed on the front top half of her head, 3 of her legs and her tail. :lol: she's always in shed! What a goof.

No one called me back from Customs. Will be calling them again at 10 tomorrow, since I work at 1. Even the customs people in their head office place was confused it had been held so long for no apparent reason, since they are legal and I have a permit.

I'm just hoping you'll get your worms in tomorrow. This is beyond stupid, you sure don't want them there for the weekend. What in the world could have happened to them? I'll be checking tomorrow night after work, that's for sure!

I don't think I'll get them tomorrow, if they haven't been cleared yet. I don't want them for the weekend, but it might happen anyways. I'm past being angry, I'm just neutral until I find out what is going on.

That is so ridiculous. Did ReptiWorms say what they would do is they were DOA?

I didn't pay for them, since we weren't sure if they would arrive or not. Though if they arrive DOA, I'll have them just send out another package with all the proper labelling.

Bad news. Customs sent the item back. Not sure why. Figuring it out now. Confused, and frustrated.

I talked to Customs, apparently Canada Health might have denied it. But no one actually knows, it's just been sent back and that's the most I'm getting. So now I have to email the Vancouver Branch and ask why, I guess they send a formal letter, but that is going to take to long.

Not the way I wanted to start my Friday.
