Tales of Thresh and Fizz *Update*

Hi everyone!

So Deb was amazing today and came over and helped me pick out the new baby for the family. Except he isn't so much of a baby. And he may also may not be a he. :lol: He's from the same clutch as Baron was from, so his birthday is March 10th! And holy moly what a healthy juvie.

Even though he is a bit small at 12 inches, he can eat. Let me tell you, he can eat. Deb got pictures of him eating when I first gave him food 5 minutes after him being in the tank. 2 bowls of roaches later and a bowl and a half of baby bok choi and he seemed content. SO. PICTURES. I only got 3 before my camera died.

The last two are kind of crappy...But the camera was making angry red flashes at me and I was trying to get some.

I'm glad all your babies are doing well & that Arya starts to get less cantankerous, and check out Benjamin, figures he'd get himself into those treats :lol:

That's the one thing about being in Vancouver is the winter weather; even though it's more sunny in other areas, you have to put up with the cold. I was glad to leave it behind 26 years ago and I haven't changed my mind :lol: You'll have to see how things go with the worms 1st, so to see if you can get a good client base going and I don't see why not, seeing as you're the only person in the West who would be selling them! So I will wish you the best on that score.

I'm sure you'll come up with a tasty dinner for Thanksgiving, it'll be cosy, just the two of you.

I need to post more pictures of Thresh. I'm going to try setting up the living room so she can run around a bit.

I gave her a bowl of roaches this morning. Only time she eats out of the bowl when I'm in the room. :lol: She's getting lots of worms every day, though, at least 30 but normally over that so I'm glad. She always eats her greens, but not as much as before.

Our apartments are due for redevelopment soon. Probably within 2-3 years, 5 at best. So we'll need to move any ways, even if we stay in Vancouver. I'm hoping, if we do stay, we can get it to the point of me paying off my loans where we can get a nice little car, so we can get a place in North Burnaby and we just drive over for work. But we're still looking at Alberta, though the herp laws there are really different and I'd have to make sure any future animals I get would be legal. That's kind of why I want to stay in BC-even if Vancouver is expensive, most herps are legal here.

At least you don't have to decide on anything for awhile, moving is such a pain.

The promised pictures! She got let out again this AM and adventured the floor, and then she saw the window. I put her up there and she scratched and scratched at the glass and then scaled the mesh screening.

It's sunny out, but not super warm. So she got pulled off there quickly and put back in her viv with the warm lights.

Oh my, she's grown so much, time for a visit. Now that I'm off work until at least November, we'll have time for me to come over, if you want. You'll have to let me know when you're off. I even have gas in the car! She's so beautiful & Benjamin is as handsome as ever! And don't worry, I always have a shower and disinfect my hands before I go outside, if I've handled Titan. The other dragons are handled first thing, then Titan, so they're all clear, too. I sure don't want that fungus to get to them either. I'm actually learning a lot right now about YF, getting a list together of what I need to get to boost his immune system, too.

She's 16.25" now, I measured her last night. The daily or every other day roaches are helping, I think. Once a week I go in and dig out a small bowl for her to have through the day. She loves it. :lol:

And yes, feel free to come over! I normally always get Sundays off, so that would probably be best, since my weekdays I have off I clean and do errands.

Hi LaWishful! I did get her name from League. I had a lovely woman donate to pay for half of her, (the story is on the first page I believe), and I offered up a list of names of league champions and she picked Thresh. At the time we thought Thresh was male, but she's female. :lol:

All of my Dragons have had their names from league. Baron Nashor, Cho'Gath and now Thresh. I'm going to keep the theme going I think.

Oh! I’ve been wanting to ask... How do you pronounce Thresh’s name? Really curious as I don’t know if I am pronouncing it right. :lol:

That's pretty cool I was gonna name my beardie Aatrox, or Tryndamire but I figured designing a cage around the League of Legend theme was pretty hard for me, so I decided to go with Prometheus the Titan.
