Im so glad yall like them!!! We couldnt do this without you. I think she has gained some weight ... my scale says she has gained 8 grams but i want to see what the vets scale says. i think mine is too small to get an accurate reading. But i do feel some jelly in her little belly when i pick her up and i love it she is asleep wrapped up in her pillowcase blanket on my chest asleep right now. Her gums are so red ... i worry about them alot. And one side still drips out some thickish saliva alot. Ive been rinsing them with warm water after her feedings ... i think some of the icky goop is gone .... but even food is new to her ... and even though im soooooo gentle with the syringes it all is new and i know its so sensitive. Im keeping up dilligently with the Baytril because i want her mouth to heal up so so much ... her poor mouth and gums!!
she is looking better for sure. She has some long nails too. guess they never trimmed them either. She does look very happy, glad she is doing so good for you. Keep up the good work on your little one.
Oh ikr?? mhm ... They are still long but they were much much muchhhhh longer ... i clipped alot off themand they still are long. They were curled up so far under her feet. Still workimg on that! They are short im comparison to ehat th
ey were .... crazy!!!!
Aww, she is looking wonderful! She doesn't even look like the same beardie in the pic that the first owner sent you!
I love all of the pictures on her tank too, that is so cute!
Those pics you've put up in her tank just ooze positive energy. She looks so amazing from when you got her & she definitely has a belly now, so all that good food is doing great work on her. That poop is as normal as poop gets, and the water is great, just means she's well hydrated. Once the Baytril is done & you get the ok from the vet, then you can start the panacur for the parasites. It's seems to take a long time so make sure, as you're doing now, that her tummy is full before the meds. That seems to be working great with her as it's been doing for Gabriel.
Keep us all posted, she is such a miracle beardie & you are a miracle slave! What a difference some time with good caring love makes!
Keep up the good work,
Deb
She looks so happy!! I swear in that one pic she is smiling! She is looking wonderful, so much better than before!! You are doing an awesome job with her!!
wow, you trimmed her nails, I can imagine how long they were, sure it will take a while to get them back where they should be, but wow, your doing such a job job with her and I am sure she loves it too.
yes i did trim them, they were SUPER SUPER long. this afternoon she was really good about letting me get them trimmed down more ... it hard with her legs the way they are shaped but i was able to get them down. she pooped again this morning, and then gave me just some water and nice urate this afternoon.
she is still so bony, but i keep saying, hey ... its all good b/c i do feel a little tiny tummy when i pick her. she is really tired this afternoon, i let her walk around for a while, her "army crawl" that she seems to be getting better at!!!! well ALOT better than day one thats for sure. she is just soooooooooo tuckered out by this time of day, and i fully understand that.
i dont really know if she is going to be up for her normal second feeding soon, or her Baytril. she is just so sleepy and drained right now. poor girl is worn out from everything, and i would imagine rightfully so!
i do have some videos that i will upload and get on here

here is Trey, I've had him since he was a few days old. He is a ham and I love him so much, I take him everywhere with me!
Then there is my rescue Rafael. He was terribly neglected at this gross petstore near me and when I saw him I knew I just had to have him. Here he is at the petstore all miserable He had no heat at all and was only being fed romaine lettuce.
And here he is now!
I had Sydney chilling on my shoulder and she decided to climb on up! She's all "I OWN."
Today we had Sydney out and she jumped off of me and ran at my friend (who was afraid of her) and jumped on her.
She wanted to see what she was doing online. We put up some beardie videos!
