HEY YALL!!!
i am SO happy yall enjoyed the pics and the video. i have other videos, just need to get them onto youtube. her little Lexi army crawl, she army crawls all around the place

Lexxers Lexi Lou ate WORMS for the first time today ... she was BAFFLED at them ... i WISH i would have gotten a video of THAT!
they were waxies, butters arent here yet. picked up some waxies from pet smart ... she was SO confused by worms. i dont think she has seen a wiggly worm before.
she sat there just starring and head tilting big time, sticking her tounge out and leaving it out ... like literally just sticking out her mouth as if halfway about to get them and halfway not for a really really long time. she started scratching at the bowl, i mean it was soooooooooo funny! (i have to find humor in it or i will start dwelling)

but FINALLY she grabbed a few, and then a few more, and all the while still totally confused. it was priceless and i didnt have my phone on me. im sure she will do it again, but she did love the waxies once the whole process was over. my silly Lexi.

yeah guys, i think there are signs all around me that she is pointing out ... ones i wouldnt have noticed before. i only ever glanced down over at that hand sculpture one time since we have moved in, and that was in January. but she crawled on it and i was like, oh ... and i never even knew there was writing on it until i looked at her on top of it.
just little things .... it wild.
its kind of eerie, but in a very good way. in a special way. very special.


and oh yes, Opal adores her, always near her, Opal is AMAZING with the beardies. she almost acts more protective of them than i do. isnt that odd?

I remember the first day you posted wondering if you should get her or not. What progress she has made thanks to you. A whole new wonderful life! What a lucky little girl

Hi Emily, I think that pic of Lexi's outside basking spot is wonderful, too. She's a special little girl beardie, that's for sure.

How's Bluebelle, is she still acting strange, pouting, over Lexi? Beardies are funny, you should have seen the looks when I showed up on Sunday eve after being away since early Fri am. Didi & Leo were still wide awake & the looks were "where the H*** have you been!" I had to snuggle Leo for 3 hours before he settled down to sleep. Didi was ok after a short snuggle, he fell right asleep. Jake did a wonderful job with them & I feel so good having been away for the weekend. Renewed energy!

Glad you enjoyed the concert & that both Lexi & Blue were fine while you were gone. Did your parents start on their way home yet?

I can't get over Opal, the beardie companion/security guard. So amazing how some cats just love beardies!

awwwwwwww they MISSED you!! and i think they do hold temp grudges ... like "really? really. you just left me? hmph."
teehee. im glad they are happy now yay! sont you just love coming home to your babies?!?!? its like LOVE LOVE LOVE smother with love and you have such a cool crew i adore them!

Blue actually has acted a LITTLE weird lately ... she got a visit today from my best-friends' two boys today, they are 6 and 3 and they LOVE HER. so she got ALOT of attention today, they brought her back a tiny blue sombrero from the beach. i mean they dote over her and hold her and love her so much. "WE LOVE BLUEBELE SO MUCH" over and over again. all the time. once they left she went back in the viv and is proudly basking. i think she needed that!!! i really do.

she has been pouty lately ... i feel bad!!! but the kids, they love to buy her things. she is DEF their lizard more than mine by far. ha! major attachment to them. (ok an me too ) but when they come over she perks up and is one happy slappy bappy girl and i held for an hour, gave her some sunlight and supers SO yes, she seemed happier

and yup, thanks, mom and dad are off into the sunset. it was a really good visit!!! i usually only see them one or twice a year, so when i do see them it means alot.

Lexi got lots of sun today, *hopefully* her bulb will be here today. got her butterworms today, and the new roaches should be here tomorrow possibly friday. i needed to clean out my roach bin major anyhow, so this is a good thing. and Blue misses her roaches alot i think. they both had a chow down of waxworms last night, teehee. :mrgreen:

and YES Opal is one amazing little body guard AND she loves the way their rough skin feels, and they like her warmth and softness, its a win/win! they all just blow my mind ... animals are *truly* something special.

awww Esther ... it IS so cute when they do the head tilts!!! and YES i remember it was just a inncoent post, like "should i or eh, maybe not" ... then it spiraled quickly into an emergency to say the least. crazy how things like that happen. but i look back at my first post and think ... WOW. what a crazy ride this is. She has made progress thanks to me but 100% thank you to YALL!!!!!!!!!!!! i mean, you are just as much as part of her life as i am. i truly consider ya family to her :love5: :headbang:

I think he is in brumation (sp? context? lol). Not eating much, sleeping a lot, kinda cranky, tried to bury himself in my couch and in the yard when I took him outside. I can't take him outside much until I order a harness for him. He has perked back up the last few days, though.

Lexi gets around well on your hard floor from what I see in the video, Sonic doesn't grasp the concept of actually picking himself up to move. He just tries to "swim" across the floor. It's quite entertaining for me :lol: , but frustrating for him , I'm sure.

i think its easier for her slide on the slick surfaces. in carpet she actually has to pick her front legs up ... i know its TOTALLY backwards from Blue (and Sonic too!) ... she's just a silly head

great that he has perked back up, thats good!!! i wrote a post/reply on here about some things you might wanna look into for brumation, i think its a on pg 13 ... its around there! didnt know if you saw it or not. but im glad he's perky now!!!!

I will have to go back and find it. I must have missed it when I wasn't getting email notifications last week. I did start a new topic on it but no one has replied to it yet. Didn't wanna take over Lexi's thread with Sonic topics. (P.S. you should re-name this thread "Lexi's Place" since its no longer a choice haha)

And yeah, I've caught Mario in some very, um, INTERESTING positions. One time, his booty was up on the arm of the couch, while the rest of him, one back leg included, were on the seat. He moved before I could snap a pic of that one.
