Hi all;
I picked up my baby on Friday from her former home. She is about a year and a half old and appeared to be healthy and well taken care of. SO sweet. However, I feel as though maybe she wasn't taken care of the way they said they took care of her for various reasons.

I noticed that her tail had a gradient to a darker color (similar to what is on her back) however today and yesterday while handling I realized that the very tip of her tail is quite stiff and constantly sticks up very slightly.. hopefully my photos do it justice!
Do you guys think this could be tail rot? or do you think she is just cold or something? I had to buy a ceramic heat emitter today to bring the temperature to where it should be and her former home did not have one... I dunno. See the attached photos lol.

If it is suspected tail rot, I would like to monitor the darkness for one-two weeks and try using betadine and neosporin and watch for improvement, and if no change occurs or if it gets worse I will bring her to the vet.
Thanks in advance!!

Whoops. Sorry! I'll try it that way. Here are the photos.
I hope that her tail is just dark! Let me know what you think :)
The very tip is the darkest, hardly any of the lighter colour is there and it is quite stiff and slightly stuck up as I said before. (Also she was basking when I snuck her out to take these photos real quick so she's usually much more yellow on her back lol)

Her tail looks quite healthy to me. Signs of rot would include shriveling or open wounds and I don't see anything but a healthy tail in those photos =)

Is there any concern with the very tip of her tail being stiff and permanently slightly pointing upwards? I just looked underneath and it looks like a single scale may be missing or something.. perhaps she got her tail stuck in a door or something aha or perhaps I'm being paranoid!
Thanks for your help!

Hi there, I agree with Cooper that she is a picture of health. The slight bend at the very tip is a non issue, happens to lots of dragons [ I've had some myself ] and will not affect her at all. Enjoy your new beardie. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
