symptoms of shedding???

Hi - Just a quick question...The bearded dragon I inherited from a former student is maybe in the process of starting to shed. I've not experienced this before...Her appetite has been so-so, hasn't drank hardly any water - even from the water placed on her nose....has been turning more pale for the past couple of days....she has a water bowl in her habitat, but doesn't drink from it that I've noticed....today when I offered her water from her nose area, she opened her mouth many times as if her mouth was dry and bubbles started coming forth...I continued to offer her water, but it didn't help....any suggestions, please? Thank you!

The gray color and reduced appetite make me think this is a possible shed. Can you post photos of her? Try giving her a warm bath and see if she drinks from that. It may also help the shed along. The bubbles could be nothing or could be a respiratory problem. If you can post photos of that, it would also be helpful.

Hi, thank you for trying to help... She hasn't produce any more bubbles, and isn't breathing funny or with noises...but she acts very cranky... and really isn't interested in drinking water...her pale color is coming and going now...her appetite is iffy...I have given her baths, but she doesn't like them and has never drank any of the water while taking one...once she's taking a bath , she inflates herself and puffs up ... her water level is never past her chest and is medium to light warm temp - is that too hot?...I just want to help her and definitely feel like I'm failing her......
