A month or two ago my beardie got his nails clipped at the vets. The nurse made him bleed on quite a few toes, and one of them was cut so short it was a little painful for a few days afterwards.
I’ve noticed that that particular nail hasn’t grown back at all since then. However, the same toe on the other foot seems quite fat and swollen compared to the other, and his nail appears to be either bruised or black. There was a few times where he got his claw stuck in the vent at the back of his Viv, and I had to gently unhook it because he was just yanking away. I think that may have potentially damaged his nail, as it’s not looking too great. He’s had a mildly dark beard for a few days too, so I’m wondering whether or not it’s sore? He’s going to the vet this weekend anyway for a check up, but I just wanted a second opinion as well.
