Hello there I was thinking is it safe for beardies to swim underwater? Or even swim at all?

Hell yeah, many Beardies love to have baths and it's also very good for them, keeps them hydrated and helps with shedding.
I'v seen videos of some Beardies swimming underwater and i think it should be okay, aslong as they come back up
When you bath your own you should make sure the water is not too hot or cold (kinda like a babys temperature for a bath) and it shouldn't come up further than the shoulders ^^
Also, be careful incase it gets so relaxed and falls asleep in the water...We all know how they sleep so deeply, they could easily drown.

Cute video of Midna!! I was wondering though do Beardies actually know how to swim for reals?

Like I bathe mine in the bathtub and I usually fill up the one side a bit deeper than the other side, but so far he hasnt really moved around at all in the bath. Just sits there not giving a care for anything lol!

Same with my Beaux. She doesn't do anything, I think she might now like the water too much. I don't know why she does this.

yea i tried putting my beardie to swim and i cant say she loved it but she was able to tolerate it. she swam for a bit before wanting to get out
